Why use this:
Applicant Authorization, Passport size photo (A scanned Clear and in focus color photograph on white background. Please note that the photo must be scanned in good quality and should not be images from documents.), Letter of Authorization (Wet & Digital signatures are acceptable.
Signature’s time limit is 6 months.), Passport or ID Document Copy (1. For Nepalese Citizens:
- Front and back copy of the Citizenship ID card (Citizenship Card), and
- If the applicant has been issued a passport, provide a copy of the bio page of the valid passport (Pages 2, 3, and 31).
2. For Nepalese Citizens Living Outside Nepal:
- Front and back copy of the Citizenship ID card (Citizenship Card), and
- A copy of the latest departure stamp on the passport used for the most recent exit from Nepal (must bear the Nepal Government seal).
Note: If the citizen holds two passports (old and current), copies of both must be provided.
3. For Foreign Nationals Currently in Nepal:
- Valid copy of the foreign passport (must include all pages, especially immigration stamps, the first and last visa, and pages with the Nepal Government seal), and
- A copy of the Work Permit.
4. For Foreign Nationals Living Outside Nepal:
- Copy of the valid passport, and
- Pages showing the latest arrival in Nepal, including:
- Visa and arrival stamp,
- Most recent (or different) visa (if applicable),
- Departure stamp from Nepal (all must bear the Nepal Government seal).
5. For Indian Citizens:
- Valid Indian passport, and
- Valid Aadhar card (Indian Citizenship Card).
Additional Notes for Indian Citizens:
- If the candidate is in India and traveled to Nepal by train (not by flight), a departure stamp is not required. In such cases, the candidate should provide:

- Passport copy
- Aadhar Card
- Recent photograph
- If the candidate traveled using their passport, Nepalese authorities will provide entry/exit stamps, which must be submitted.
- If the candidate traveled by road or used an Indian voter ID card, no stamps are issued. In such cases, the candidate must provide a document stating arrival and exit dates, certified by the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal.
6. For Refugees:
- Valid copy of the Refugee Card.
- If the refugee did not have a passport while leaving Nepal, they must provide the Travel Card along with the departure stamp from Nepal.
